Travel directions

Van der Valk Avifauna is centrally located about 30 minutes drive from Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam. From the A4 and A12 take the exit Alphen aan den Rijn and in Alphen the ANWB signs show the way. Avifauna has ample free parking.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
City buses 1 and 2 of Alphen aan den Rijn stop at stop Avifauna op de Hoorn. These buses run to Avifauna twice a day on weekdays and Saturdays, and once every hour on Sundays. Line 2 runs directly from Station Alphen aan den Rijn to Avifauna (about 7 minutes), line 1 goes from Avifauna back to the station (about 10 minutes). Both bus lines connect well to the trains at the station: line 1 on trains to and from Leiden and line 2 on trains to and from Utrecht. Qliner 381 operates on weekdays at peak hours from The Hague Central Station to Alphen aan den Rijn and vice versa: three times in the morning rush hour and three times in the afternoon rush hour.
