Boat trip through the green heart

Take an authentic Dutch 1.5-hour boat trip through the Green Heart of South Holland. Cruise past polders and windmills in a beautiful natural landscape.

The boat trip through the Green Heart lasts 1.5 hours and sails through the De Hemmen nature area and across the Braassemermeer lake. The cruise can be perfectly combined before or after your buffet. You board at Rederij Avifauna, opposite the bird park.

You can pay for the cruise on board the boat.

*On board, children receive a cruise quiz and a colouring page. When they hand it in, they get a small gift (on the boat).

Rederij Avifauna may cancel a cruise if there are not enough participants.

The cruise is operated with both a single-deck (saloon) boat and a three-deck boat (which is wheelchair accessible). If you want to know which boat is sailing, please contact the hotel reception. If you have limited mobility, please mention this in your reservation.

We recommend booking your cruise in advance. If your preferred date is not listed, please call 0172-487575 to check availability.

Free parking
Cruise guests can park for free. If you arrive by car for a cruise through the Green Heart, you can use both parking areas free of charge. You will receive a free exit ticket when you pay. If you leave after 19:00, you do not need an exit ticket, as the barriers are open.
